Angelica Villas - Ancient Epidaurus
Angelica Villas is the perfect choice for enjoying your holidays throughout the year and can be a great base to explore the surrounding area. The beach is only 100 meters from the hotel and is accessible through a private road.
The area: We are located only 10km from the main attraction of the area, which is the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus (colossal creation of the ancient Greek culture). The theater, which is part of a large archaeological site that includes a stadium and a museum, can be visited during the day or during a performance. Performances usually take place on Fridays and Saturdays in July and August. You may contact us to get detailed information.
The city of Nafplion, the archaeological site of Mycenae, the islands of Spetses, Poros and Hydra are less than 1-hour drive away.
The little town of Epidaurus offers a variety of activities that you can enjoy even if you don’t have a car – such as the sunken city beach (approx. 20 min walk), nice restaurants at the beach and in the small harbor and the small ancient theater of Epidaurus. Some music events take place there during summer. In addition, you can visit a long beach with a combination of quiet spots and vibrant beach bars. Taxis are available to help you navigate around the town if needed.
Our hotel has studios and apartments, ranging from 35m2 and 55m2 to 80m2. Some have a personal garden or a full view of the sea and can accommodate 2-6 persons. All have a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, room service, telephone, wireless internet and free parking.
How to reach us: The easiest way is by private car. It takes approx. 2 hours from Athens and 1 hour from the town of Nafplio. If you need a taxi transfer, we can help you organize a private transfer.
